Music Worship Leader

Part-Time

Baker Street Wesleyan Church (Loving God, Loving People, Serving Both) in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a music worship leader. The position is a part-time salaried position with an expected 10-12 hours per week. Excellent pay for the right candidate. No benefits provided.

Qualifications:

• - A deep and abiding relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
• - The ability to lead worship solo acoustically with a guitar or piano
• - The ability to lead the congregation into the presence of the Lord utilizing prayer, reading Scripture, and sharing devotional thoughts as well as song
• - A love for people of all ages and a willingness to develop an inter-generational music set (generally five songs per week) that includes hymns and contemporary worship songs
• - An outgoing and warm personality that will get to know the people they lead in worship
• - A desire to engage and participate in the greater life of Baker Street Wesleyan Church with a collaborative spirit
• - A desire to encourage and nurture the musical gifts of the congregation
• - The vision to see your position as a calling beyond music to the people and mission of Baker Street
